OCR: Team Eeeek: The Dawning Of An Age - Disciple of the Prince Page 63 The Krausmeyer raised a jeweled chalice toward the grotesque image hanging amid stagnate plumes of smoke. The Prince, through the idol glorifying his disfigurement, smiled down on the little man. And for that transcendent moment, the two locked in a gaze that would not yield to the murmurings of the Servants. "Send only Thy thought down upon us, oh Prince, that Thy Servants' gift my find acceptance in Thy sight!" Trembling, the Krausmeyer brought the chalice to his lips, felt bile rise in his throat as the heady scent of perfumed blood rose through his nose into his brain. But he would have to drink. The sacrifice demanded it. The little man held his gaze - defiantly - and poured the rich contents of the golden goblet onto his tongue, let it roll nauseatingly around the cringing flesh of his mouth. "Oh, Prince, we lay ourselves before You as servants of Thy will! And unto Your presence we offer this UnAnnointed in hope that we find favor in Thy sight! Accept this offering, reveal Thy will! That Thy faithful may find their way through Thy darkness into the light of Thy fire!"
